
Duties of the Academic Board
The Academic Board is to look into the academic quality and rigour of the PEI. Its responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Developing policies and procedures to ensure academic quality and rigour;

Ensuring that the content and duration of modules or subjects, as well as the entry and graduation requirements of courses, are appropriate;

Approving the deployment of teachers based on the requirements stipulated by the SSG;

Facilitating the implementation and compliance of policies and procedures by the PEI; and
-
Reviewing academic policies and procedures when necessary.

Duties of the Examination Board
The Examination Board is responsible for the development of examination and assessment procedures, including the development and implementation of procedures to:
1. Ensure the security of examination papers and answer scripts;
2. Ensure the proper conduct of examinations and assessments;
3. Define and ensure the proper discharge of duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers;
4. Conduct the moderation of examination and assessment marks; and
5. Handle appeals from students regarding examination or assessment matters.
